The 2013 auction boasts a large selection of museum quality artifacts including 60 lots from the collection of Dr. Delwin & Karen Bokelman, as published in Precious Dreams. Items headlining this year’s auction include Bohlin & Frankie Paul silver parade saddles, several second & third phase Chief’s blankets, John Norval Marchand 38" x 24" oil on canvas, ¬Crow beaded warshirt, a finely quilled Metis or Cree outfit, fully beaded cradleboards, Andy Thomas 26” x 38” oil on linen, Sioux Bowcase & quiver - belonged to Paints Brown, half-brother of Sitting Bull, Sioux carbine scabbard - belonged to No Two Horns (1852-1942), a survivor of the Battle of the Little Big Horn, a large collection of hard to find Earle Heikka & Bob Scriver bronzes, Charles M. Russell 6.5” x 10.5” pen & ink – published in Agnes C. Laut’s The Blazed Trail of the Old Frontier, dozens of fine weavings – the best we have ever offered, and much more.
