Henry Lechler (1780–1840) – Lebanon County, Pennsylvania
Descended from a family with militia service dating back to the Revolution, Henry Lechler worked near Myerstown producing rifles that combined strength with graceful design. He is believed to have supplied arms to Pennsylvania rifle companies during the War of 1812, and his shop employed apprentices who carried the Lebanon style forward.
